When you get your make-up done free at the mall, do they use the same lipsticks, etc on everyone?

I see all of the make-up products out in the open. It seems like the lipsticks are applied directly on every person's lips, with no sanitation in between. Is this true? If so, why would anyone do this? When you get your make-up done free at the mall, do they use the same lipsticks, etc on everyone?
They're supossed to take a popcicle stick, and scrape off the desired abount and then from the stick apply onto skin with brushes. After they're done they're supossed to clean their brushes with alcohol and allow to dry. When you get your make-up done free at the mall, do they use the same lipsticks, etc on everyone?
I've had my makeup done and they used a little stick to remove some of the lipstick then they used a disposable lip brush to apply it.

i really don't think the health and safety board would allow them to use the same thing on everybody. i don't know about you but i sure as hell don't want someones mouth herpes LOL
the lipsticks are, but you aren't supposed to put them directly on the lips, you are supposed to use the little brushes they have. but most people don't anyways
Well I don't know for sure but if they ARE put directly on the people's lips they definetly clean them. But Im pretty sure that they have lip brushes that they use a new one for everyone.
they usually use a lip brush then throw it away.but they sometimes dip in alcohol to sanitize it.
They either use brushes or have a palette for each individual, w/all the colors you want to try.
At places like that they use lip brushes on the lip stick to apply it to ur lips same goes with the shadows.
They have lip brushes that they use and throw away for each person.
No they use different ones for each new person
