The best makeup is Bare Minerals. They have foundation, concealer, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, powder.. and a lot more. You can buy starter kits at places like Target, and they sell most of the products at Sephora, but there are actually Bare Escentuals stores too. I went in to get my makeup done and they matched me exactly and found good shades for me. It's a little more expensive but it's really good for your skin and it looks really pretty on everyone.
FOUNDATION: cover girl trublend
CONCEALER: covergirl stick concealer.
MASCARA: they dont hav very good mascara, but i would say revlon black mascara. they have waterproof and non waterproof
EYELINER: they have some liquid eyeliner in black, brown, blue, purple, even gold and white and some pencil eyeliner, i forget their brandnames, but basically any of the pencil eyeliners. especially the ones that you can twist and more comes out of the top
SHADOW: covergirl shadow. or some other eye shadows, i forget the names, just look around its so long lasting and it doesnt smudge
BLUSH: or maybe bronzer too, you could use trublend or covergirl blush thats a rosy pink maybe. or the mineral kind, thats healthy for yoour skin
PRESS POWDER: covergirl. do a light color so u dont look too tan.
anyways just look around the drug store and you will find a lot of things.
i personally think that covergirl is the best brand for anything in a drugstore. and they even use all their products in america's next top model
I assume you are a teenager just starting out with make-up.
Foundation/ Concealer and Powder:
I'm going to recommend Maybelline Pure line. It is oil free and made with water. It is wonderful for teenage skin. It won't clog your pores. The foundation is light and available in tons of different colors. The powder is a shine-free formula. The concealer has salicylic acid in it to fight those break outs while covering them.
Eyeshadow/ Eyeliner: I use Rimmel. It lasts 8 hours, crease-free, really. Lots of colors and a decent price.
Mascara: Cover Girl Lash Exact is really nice, it makes your lashes really thick and long, and if you use it right, it won't clump. This one is more of a personal choice...it depends on your eye lashes.
Blush- I use an Avon cream blush, I like cream blush because it looks more natural when you put it on.
All except the Avon can be found at any drug store. Any cream blush in the right color would work well. I just like the Avon one.
I don't suggest mineral make-up. I think it looks like stage paint because it just 'sits' on your skin and looks greasy.
Keep in mind, most Cover Girl foundation is made with oils, so it clogs pores. I use the TruBlends when I have family photos, it looks nice, but it gives me break outs.
(I have black hair and pale sensitive skin)
Foundation: Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and Physician's Formula Mineral Wear
Concealer: I haven't found any good ones. MAC Select Cover-Up is good.
Lip balm: ChapStick! :)
Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash, CoverGirl LashBlast, Maybelline Define-a-Lash
Shadow: NYX, CoverGirl
Blush: L'Oreal True Match Blush
Pressed Powder: CoverGirl Clean Fragrance Free Pressed Powder (the green compact)
Clinique foundation and powder or MAC Studio Fix (powdered foundation)
I use any kind of lipgloss, but usually in a clear, natural shade. Mascara I use Cover-Girl Lash Blast. Eyeline I use Avon Glimmersticks (it stays on forever!) Blush I'm currently using MAC Dolly Mix Blush.

I always use the cakey foundation by maybelline.its called Dream Matte Mousse!its the best for my skin and then I apply on powder CoverGirl makeup.works for me :) the Dream Matte is oil free
I like NYX. They carry a great quality of makeup CHEAP. Most stuff is comparable to MAC. They carry it at Rite Aid or CVS.

I need some lipstick and mascara for my grad coming up. I have dark brown, almost black hair and fair to middle skin tone with yellow/olive highlights. I wanted a bright colour for my lips, like old Hollywood style. think Christina Agulara and Gwen Stefani. Try a rosy, rosy pink blush. I find that w/brown hair, my eyes are amber-ish though that a neon-ish pink suits me. I use NYC Pink Kiss Lipgloss, it's cheap and it rubs off easily but I LOVE the color and it does stay on a while. I think deep earthy colors even gold would be good for your eyes. You may want to do your eyes like in the pic(:

but green goes well with brown eyes :) a light blusher for pale skin, nothing to honest, I think for parties what u got on there for normal days keep it natural
I love Rimmel London foundation i use long lasting 16hr, it does exactly what it says on the bottle! Only prob is if you use too much it becomes obv your wearing foundation, its one of those foundations where you only need a blob
For eyes i'd say mascara eyeliner ad just a line close to your eyelashes of an eyeshadow matching your outfit
Go for clear lipgloss and just dab it to give it a more natural look :)

Go into Boots makeup department and ask there advice as you say you have pale white skin so ask there advice and ask them lf you could have a free make over where they will let you know what suits your skin as we all have different skin types oily, dry etc so some advice from the experts all-ways helps.
eyeshadow: i suggest you do the smokey effect...

lipstick: i suggest you wear a light pink shade with clear lipgloss
gloss: (if you're just wearing it on it's own) pink(bright)

You can do well with any makeup that contains a lot of pigment and little frost...it seems many of those are found in the malls. If you learn to apply it correctly and stay away from cheap brands, it will show well.

Face scurb I'll recommend (St.ives apricot Scrub (it takes out all the dead skin cell)

Revlon Colorstay foundation with soft flex seams to be the best drugstore foundation out there right now. Covers nice, stays fresh, natural colors, and lasts all day.
Covergirl mascara is great, especially the professional all in one smudge proof mascara.
Maybelline New York blush in twin peach. This is a pair of natural looking colors that will look great on anyone.
Rimmel Jelly Lipgloss in Juicy

If you are ordering from Wal-Greens, I would recommend Covergirl lipstick, blush, and foundation. For lips, I love CG's Wetslicks lip glosses. I think that they're much more ';younger'; than lipstick. CG's Classic Color blushes are great for cheeks. The CG Clean Make-Up foundations are awesome too. I like Maybelline for mascara. Their XXL Volume + Length Mascara really extends and enhances eyelashes. I recommend not getting the waterproof kind because it takes forever to clean off at the end of the day. It's like glue or something! As for face scrub, Clean %26amp; Clear Sensitive Skin Foaming Facial Cleanser is probably the best facial scrub I've ever used. P.S. All of these products are pretty inexpensive too!

If you are ordering from Wal-Greens, I would recommend Covergirl lipstick, blush, and foundation. For lips, I love CG's Wetslicks lip glosses. I think that they're much more ';younger'; than lipstick. CG's Classic Color blushes are great for cheeks. The CG Clean Make-Up foundations are awesome too. I like Maybelline for mascara. Their XXL Volume + Length Mascara really extends and enhances eyelashes. I recommend not getting the waterproof kind because it takes forever to clean off at the end of the day. It's like glue or something! As for face scrub, Clean %26amp; Clear Sensitive Skin Foaming Facial Cleanser is probably the best facial scrub I've ever used. P.S. All of these products are pretty inexpensive too!

I have to say I think when someone has a tan they look healthy and radiant. So i would start by exfolating and removing unwanted hair and moisturising on the 29th, (if shaving though make it the 30th) it's best to exfoliate and moisturise the day before applying tanning products. Then on the night of the 30th, a few hours before bed time apply your chosen tanning product. Fake Bake and St Tropez are probably the best and easiest at the mo. Ensure you have applied the tanning product all over, get a friend to help with the difficult to reach places (you could do each others). To avoid streaky elbows, feet and knees apply these areas with some moisturiser. Leave to dry and go to bed with it still on. (prob best if you put a towel down on the bed as it does stain.)
Morning of the 31st - The tan has had time to develop, so now is the time to wash it off in the shower.
For Make-up - I would go for more dramatic make up. I also have dark brunette hair and greeny blue eyes. So if it was me I would apply my usual foundation, powder, bronzer/blusher. Theres no point changing the base as you already know it works. If you feel the base is a little light compared to the bronzed body a slightly darker powder does the trick.
I would make eyes dramatic and lips neutral, so maybe smoky eyes, use a light silver/grey, a charcoal/black and a shimmery white highlighter. Apply the lighter colour all over the eye lid right up to the brow. Apply the darker colour at the edges and blend up and in towards the centre using the crease of the eye as a guide. Then finally apply the shimmery white just below the eyebrow to highlight them. Ensure both eyes are even and brows are well groomed.
Line eyes with black eyeliner and dab some of the shimmery white eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes. Curl eyelashes and apply lashings of mascara.
Opt for a sheer gloss for lips, peachy pinks are best.
Hair - I'm unsure of the style you have whether it is layered or a long bob etc. Sweeping fringes always add an element of softness to the face. Avoid middle partings as this may make the look to harsh, side partings are best for softness. If it is long enough maybe some soft curls would be nice. Set in rollers then finish with curling tongs.
Finish off the look with pretty jewellery. I love diamond or cz studs with a matching necklace and braclet.
Just before putting on outfit, rub on some Body Shops Shea Butter for Body, this complements the tan, gives it a glowing shimmery glossed look.

The day before, put some of your regular cleanser in your palm and add some sugar. GENTLY cleanse your face in circular motions and rinse well. This will exfoliate and remove all old and dead skin cells. I wouldn't recommend using toner straight after the exfoliation but, moisturise!
Try to get your hands on some face pearls as they give your cheeks and brow a healthy glow.
If you want to try receive it in time (who knows whether you will), www.avonshop.com (AVON) sells a product called 'Shimmer Swirls Face Illuminator' or try your local market for something similar - it will help you to look radiant!
Use minimal make-up - ALWAYS. Skip the liner and use some eyeshadow contrasting to the colour of your eyes. My favourite for blue eyes is a twin darkish line on the upper lid of brown shadow, followed by a lighter tone or even better, a bright cream colour. But, that would depend on what you're wearing. You might want to have a go at a peachy colour too (depending on your exact haircolour).
Always make up either your lips or eyes with a decent amount of make-up (not over-made) but not both at the same time - that's 80s and at this stage, slutty.
So, either do your eyes up and use a light gloss on your lips or wear minimal make-up on your eyes and make sure your lips are noticed.

I love MAC products. I not an advocate lipstick user. I would recommend the lip glass and eye shadows. Try the Ooh baby, wet %26amp; wonderful both lip glasses and for eye shadows try amber lights, mulch, motif, rice paper, and mythology. Oh yeah you'll love the current lip liner. Try to go to the MAC store vs. a MAC counter. The artist will consult with you one on one and show you some pointers. Lastly, I would recommend going during the week vs. w/e. Yes but they have to be put in see through plastic baggies in your carry on and they have to be under 3 ozs in clear bottles.

Yes I just flew and they just had me put it in a plastic bag and set it in a bin. I think you get like 3 oz of liquid maximum.
Any liquid in the cabin must be 3.4 oz (i think) or less. This includes makeup. Otherwise it must go packed away. You might check the number I gave you. My advice: bag it in luggage or buy some cheap stuff when you're there.

I loooooooove AVON's new Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick. When I applied it first it looked as if it were applied professionally. It is sooo smooth, it seeks out dry patches and seals in moisture. Your lips will stay saturated with vibrant colour for hours. It also has SPF 15 which is so important for us here in Australia. I have long and thick lashes so what I look for usually in the mascara is something that will make them look even thicker that's why I buy AVON's Instant Curl, that curls, thickens and defines the lashes. Oh and they cost so little, the lipstick is about US$7 and the mascara costs about US$13.What lipstick is the best? Also what mascara is the best?

The best lipstick and other cosmetics are Mark. Either Gleamstick, which you can hook up to lip glosses or anything you want in Hook Ups ($5) or Dew Drenched Moisturlicious lipstick ($6). And for long, thick lashes, I HIGHLY recommend Make it Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven or Espresso.
The good news is you don't have to spend a fortune for good makeup. I like L'Oreal lipstick and good old Great Lash mascara from Maybelline.

Mac has an amazing amount of colors and styles for lipsticks. They range from sheer, matte, frost, shimmer, anything you could possibly think of. The mascara that is absolutely amazing is Dior Show. It makes my lashes voluminous and long without clumping them (which is what most mascaras do). If you have a Nordstrom near by, I would recommend going there to find the Mac lipstick and mascara. Good luck!

I guess it would really depend on everyone's feature and which facial feature they are most happy with=) I would skip out lipstck/ gloss... I find that I usually tend to focus more on the eyes. As far as good skin goes your either have it or you don't. You can easily bite your lips or pinch your cheeks for some color so lipstick Ican live without

I love my mascara (opens up my eyes considering my eyelashes naturally point down)...eyeliner (defines eyes and draws more attention to them)....and a nude lipstick (ocassionally....just cos it's sexy right?)

i only use eye shadow if its a VERY sexy color :)

I could easerly live without Lipstick as I very very rarely use it. And also Eyeliner as dark eyeshadow can give the same sort of look (kinda).
Lipstick. As I don't ever wear it anyway! Tastes funny and I don't like it all smearing over my face when kissing.

When going work i dont wear anything on my face since i have natural beauty lol
but going out i need it all! love dressing up for occasions !

I guess it would really depend on everyone's feature and which facial feature they are most happy with=) I would skip out lipstck/ gloss... I find that I usually tend to focus more on the eyes. As far as good skin goes your either have it or you don't. You can easily bite your lips or pinch your cheeks for some color so lipstick Ican live without
It would have to be between blush and eyeshadow...
blush because it's not necessary....all of our cheeks naturally flush...
eyeshadow...personal preference...i don't tend to wear it much...if at all.
I love my mascara (opens up my eyes considering my eyelashes naturally point down)...eyeliner (defines eyes and draws more attention to them)....and a nude lipstick (ocassionally....just cos it's sexy right?)

eye shadow definately.. a smoky eyeliner and mascara can do the trick just fine and look more natural.
i only use eye shadow if its a VERY sexy color :)
now what i COULDNT go without... My lipgloss! i hate dry chapped lips and a great nourishing lipgloss goes a long way! heck i'd settle for chapstick all the time if i had to.

Blush, because I never wear it. I probably should though, I have the complexion of Casper. I don't actually wear lipstick much either because I always have super dry lips and the lipstick ***** them all up.
I could easerly live without Lipstick as I very very rarely use it. And also Eyeliner as dark eyeshadow can give the same sort of look (kinda).
Lipstick. As I don't ever wear it anyway! Tastes funny and I don't like it all smearing over my face when kissing.

i'd live without blush. i don't really use it. i use bronzer instead and i use lipgloss, and eyeliner on a daily basis.

HOW LONG SHOULD U KEEP THESE:
Perfume- you can keep this until its gone, and sometimes if u have just a little bit left in the bottle, just open it up and sit it in the middle of the room and let the fragrance warm the room.
Concealer- Up to 12 months.
Powder- 2 years.
Cream %26amp; gel cleansers- 1 year
Eye liner- Should be sharpened regularly. Will last up to 3 years.
Eyeshadow- will also last up to 3 years.
Extra tip: A dark eyeshadow can double as eyeliner, in fact, I swear the best is my eyeshadow used as eyeliner. You'll need a super-flat eyeliner brush for this (MAC %26amp; Aveda have the best brushes). Get the brush a little damp %26amp; dab in dark eyeshadow (black, brown or deep jewel-tones work great). Wiggle the brush into your lash line focusing on the space between your lashes, then sweep the color just above your lash line.
Brushes Wash every 2-3 months in a mild detergent
Sponges Wash weekly %26amp; discard monthly
Foundation Check the ingredients: A water-based foundation will last up to 12 months, oil-based will last up to 18 months. You may find you need two different shades of foundation each year: One for summer when your skin is naturally darker %26amp; one for winter when you're lighter. Extra tip: If your water-based foundation dries out before it's expiry date, simply add a few drops of alcohol-free toner %26amp; shake to get rid of clumps. No need to do this to oil-based foundations. Because they contain oil, they will tend to separate. You have to shake anyway.

perfume usually lasts me up to 3-4 months. Always avoid storing these items in high temp areas like your car or outside. You can normally tell by the smell if these items are no longer safe to use. When in doubt throw it out!

I already understand that skin make-up is bad for you since it clogs up your pores and causes break-outs.
But what about other make-up like mascara, eyeliner and lipstick? Are they bad?Is mascara, eyeliner and lipstick bad for you?
I am sorry but I disagree with you... I don't think a good foundation is bad for you nor do I think eye shadows and things ....as long as you wash your face morning and night and remove your makeup every night. I think if you never washed or took care of your face then yes it would be bad for you. Same reasoning goes with mascara and eyeliner ....if you take care of your skin you can wear these products. They only clog your pores if you never wash them off or exfoliate once a week.

They make a great lip-gloss called Lustreglass in a great color called instant gold A-95. Now as far as moisturizing I seem to have the driest lips ever and last year my sister bought me an actually lip moisturizer also from MAC. It comes in a short white fat little tube and it is called Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15. It is an amazing product. I swear by it. It has no color in it so you would have to use it first kind of as a ';primer'; and put a color on after. But try these they are great!!! GOOD LUCK

Lip gloss is great especially if it's light pink because it enhances your natural lip color, but I only wear it when I'm going somewhere and I wanna look special.
Then lip stains are awesome because you get the color of the lipstick you want but they stay on for long periods of time and you can eat, drink, or do whatever without it coming off. They can be a bit drying but there's nothing some lip balm or chapstick won't solve. If you wants shine, you can just add a top coat of clear gloss.

This is actually a very common occurrence when dealing with curry stains! I would explain the scientific process, however it is irrelevant really... What you need to know is how to get rid of the stain!

How to get lipstick stain out of satin shirt?
If the shirt is washable, use a Tide to Go pen and the stain will magically disappear.
