I am a smoker, and my lips have dark stains and they crack, can't quite hide 'em with lipstick/lip balm . Help!

As everybody else already mentioned, your best bet would be to quit. However, that's not likely to happen (I'm a smoker, too) so to help allay the dark lips, the best thing to do is to brush your teeth, or at least rinse your mouth, after every cigarette you smoke. Also, you should wash your hands after smoking. (This stops your fingers/hands from turning yellow.)

I think the cracking of your lips has less to do with smoking than it has to do with your water intake. Cracked lips are usually caused by a lack of hydration. If you drink more water, you should see that your lips will stop cracking.

Hope that helps!I am a smoker, and my lips have dark stains and they crack, can't quite hide 'em with lipstick/lip balm . Help!
Ok first try carmex. Its realy good for your lips and gives them ultimate protection. If that doesn't work try a moisturiser like nivea or vaseline then dab a little of ur favorite lipgloss on top. you'll look great. - its seriously works. gd luck -x-I am a smoker, and my lips have dark stains and they crack, can't quite hide 'em with lipstick/lip balm . Stop smoking. As a smoker, cracked lips are the least of your problems.
stop smoking
I am a smoker i don't have cracked lips but they do get chapped sometimes. So what i do is brush my teeth and then i brush my lips it takes off the dead skin to prevent chapped or cracked lips it is just dead shin dried up. Then i use some Vaseline or chap stick after and throughout the day especially smoking.
smoking makes you look ugly as well making you stink.... i'm sure you d'ont want that
I use Nivea Anti-Wrinkle Lip Effect on my lips. It reduces the appearance of lines %26amp; cracks to make your lips look fuller.
I'm reading Alan Carrs 'Easyway to give up smoking', sounds ridiculous but I can't wait to put out my last cigarette.
oh didnt u realise that everyone would diss u for that question!!! - never mind the fact that they all prob have bad habits that arent so noticeable etc.

anyways im not sure of an answer as ive never heard of this before i would consider asking ur doctor or maybe smoke from different places. ie dont place the cigarette in the same place on ur lips and dont leave it sitting there.
Apart from the obvious, of stopping smoking, have you tried using Vaseline? Put it on before you go to bed and hopefully by the morning it should have penetrated your skin.

Also, I use Elizabeth Arden's 8 hour cream, which is amazing, i can use it on cracked lips, spots, blemish, irritations. And by the morning my skin is normal again. It costs about 拢19 from Boots, but Superdrug do it for about 拢12.
stop smoking, that might help, cannot beat vasaline .
The only help I can offer is stop smoking.
don't smoke, wash your face with soap and water several times.rub your lips with milk you ll improve...
Quit smoking!!
Quit smoking
QUIT SMOKING,UR LUNGS R WORST THAN UR LIPS
Try a lip mask then a lip balm afterwards. The lip mask soften and helps peel off the dead skin and the lip balm helps hydrates your lips. Try it and see what happens.
do a lip scrub weekly. can get it from cosmetics counters. after that moisturize it with a lip balm. stick to those non perfume nor alcohol, and colouring type. Try neutrogena lip balm or nuxe lip balm. nuxe has lots of honey and the texture is thick enough for dry/cold weather. can apply lipstick on top of it. Can try Elizabeth Arden as well, get the one with spf. its useful.
