i should try giving dumb answers as well ... Report Abuse

I wouldn't fool around with home methods on a wedding dress. Take it to a reputable dry cleaner and ask them if they can get the stain out.
I second what duritz said, this sint something you want to foll around with on your own.
Was it purchased as-is or new? If new, definitely return it or request payment for cleaning.

If purchased as-is, I would have it professionally removed. Any at-home remedies risk damaging the fabric.
Do not try to wash it yourself. It will make a bigger water stain.

Sometimes, clothing stain remover towellettes work well, but if it's on the front of the dress I wouldn't recomend it.

If you don't want to invest in having it professionally cleaned ($$$) my suggestion to you is to cover it up. You can try to put an aplique over it.

Sometimes white chalk works well concealing small stains on a wedding dress.

Good luck
I have heard that baby wipes help..... good luck
Here's an excerpt from AskMen.. if it works for them it'll work for you.

It's highly recommended to treat the stain as soon as possible. Although cosmetic stains do not ruin your clothes, the sooner you treat the stain, the better. Even if you notice this while you're out and don't have the luxury to act accordingly, do so as soon as you arrive home.

If you are out when you notice the stain and don't have the necessary equipment at your disposal, you can always dab, (not rub!) the stain with water. This should suffice until you get home.

Because lipstick is a grease-based cosmetic, it is recommended to use a prewash stain remover before washing or rinsing the shirt, but there are other methods that have been proven effective using other products around the house.

Very important! Before moving on, read the care label of the shirt to see if the fabric of the shirt calls for any special care or treatment, or if certain products should be avoided.

Apply a prewash stain remover and rinse in warm water.

Do not rub, as rubbing may worsen the stain and can make it more grounded. Blot or dab the stain with the stain remover by using a white washcloth or towel.

If the stain still isn't out, apply a liquid detergent and rinse in warm water.

Using a cloth (again, preferably white), dab the stain with rubbing alcohol.

Gently rub dishwashing detergent onto the stain with your finger.

For persistent stains, apply a stain remover stick to the stain and leave it on for a few minutes.

Wash the shirt (only if it's machine washable, of course).

Blot off as much of the lipstick as you can with water.

Dab the stain with a little bit of ammonia (fabric permitting).

Rinse and wash in soapy water.

If you live with a woman, you are likely to have hairspray in the house. Here's a great use for it!

Spray hairspray onto the stain.

Let it sit on the stain for a few minutes.

Gently wipe off the spray with a white cloth.

Rinse the shirt in warm water or wash accordingly.

Remember, if the garment is suede or leather, you're better off consulting a professional or sending it to the cleaners. If the shirt is made of a more delicate fabric, you are unsure of the cleaning procedure, or you really care for your shirt, don't take a risk -- better safe than sorry! The dry cleaner should be able to remove the stain successfully. Otherwise, why spend the money on dry cleaning when you have these handy tips available?
Once I washed clothing with a lipstick - I used hair spray a few times on it - spray hairspray than wash than respray hairspray until the stain is gone - hairspray works great on grease products like lipstick and pen ink.
