What is the difference between lip gloss lipstick and lip stains!?

Lip gloss is usually clear and just puts a shiny glaze on the lips. Some lip glosses have tints to them which give you a very sheer colour on your lips.

Lipsticks have a lot of different formulas and ingredients, but all lipsticks apply a temporary colour to the lips. Since the pigments do not stain the lips, the colour can come off pretty easily.

Lip stains do just that: stain lips. The pigments seep into the skin, and that's how the color stays for so long. Most lip stains come with a gloss that you can apply after the stain has set to give your lips a more plump appearance. What is the difference between lip gloss lipstick and lip stains!?
Gloss does not apply a color, but a slightly tinted (or not)petroleum glaze. Lipstick is more waxy, less petroleum based, and is a definite color. Lip stains are acrylic, and once applied do not actually leave any coating on the lip at all, but color the tissues applied to.What is the difference between lip gloss lipstick and lip stains!?
Lip gloss is shinier and it used if you want to moisten the lips for a shiny look. Lip gloss is used if you want a more natural look also. Lip gloss can come in many tints and you apply it with a wand. Lip stick is dryer, it doesn't make your lips appear wet. You should use lip stick if you want more color. Lip stick stains clothes more than lip gloss does. I am not sure what you mean by lip stans!! Sorry.
