Lipstick stain. . . HELP!?

I bought a dress today %26amp; just wore it for my play practice. I was wearing some red lipstick and just a little bit got on the chest area of it. I found out after practice I needed a different kind of dress (i know, right). How do you get lipstick stains out? It's only a little dab, but I don't want to wash it because I want to take the dress back. Thanks!Lipstick stain. . . HELP!?
have you tried any of the stain sticks? sometimes they work good. but a lot of times when i need to get out a stain especially something like lipstick which contains oils in it, I use Dawn dish detergent, just a drop and wash that small area and a lot of the time it will get it out.. i let it sit for a few minutes too before i clean it.. Good luck.. not sure how well it will work (dont know what type of fabric the stains on) hope it all comes out ..Lipstick stain. . . HELP!?
Things You鈥檒l Need:

White Soft Dry Cloth

Denatured Alcohol

Stain Brushes

Stain Removers

Dishwashing Liquid

Step1

Dab stain very lightly with denatured alcohol using a soft, white cloth.

Step2

Rub dishwashing detergent gently into the stain with your finger.

Step3

Try using a stain stick and leaving it on for several minutes before washing, if the mark is stubborn.

Step4

Wash fabric as usual. It would be best to air dry the garment so that the stain does not set in. This way you can take it to the dry cleaner if it does not come out.

Step5

Ask your dry cleaner for help if all else fails.
I have successfully used shampoo on a number of occassion. Be sure to use a good shampoo as some cheap shampoo has got artificial colouring and might leave additional stains.

For guys make sure you have answers when asked why your shirt collar smells of shampoo
