Here's a blog called ';removing nail polish out of carpet';:

This will help... I do also recommend maybe getting a pro to come in.!

Good luck!My son has put pink nail varnish and red lipstick on my cream carpet is there a way to lift the stains please?
Things You'll Need:

Nail Polish Remover

Goof Off

Carpet Stain Removers

Peroxide

Carpet Brush

Baking Soda

Elbow Greese

Scrub the Nail Polish stain with peroxide. Peroxide will remove many fresh stains and is a popular method for removing blood.

Next try baking soda. Baking soda is also great for getting oily stains out.

There are some products on the market that claim to remove nail polish stains. Try these with caution. Try using them in a corner or closet to make sure they will not remove the dye from your carpet before using on the stain.

all else fails try a Acetone Free Nail Polish Remover. Again test in a closet first before putting directly on the stain.

Carpet Cleaners and Nail Polish Removers can also remove the dye from some carpets.Use Caution when using ChemicalsMy son has put pink nail varnish and red lipstick on my cream carpet is there a way to lift the stains please?
Oh dear! Sounds abit like my little girl his week! Her and her friend put nail varnish on there face hands tops, I got the nail varnish off with nail varnish remover, It wasnt coming out of the tops too easy tho! Im not sure what u will need to use in a cream carpet! I think i would put down some carpet cleaner and leave in soak for a hour or so then scrub it like never before lol! Good Luck :D
There is a product called Stain devils, or used to be....I assume they still exist. They make all different ones for different stains and are fab. I have used them on nail polish before and it came up a treat. You used to be able to get them in hardware stores or fabric shops

Star drops are also great for lipstick but probably not Nail polish.
You don't mention the age of your son. I assume he is very young and did not realise the damage he was doing. Cleaning carpets is specialised, I would recommend you consult your local carpet cleaner who has dealt with many cases of contaminants on carpets.

If he is in his teens you may have an extra problem on your hands.
go to hardware store and ask for goof-off,works wonders
Nail varnish remover and white spirit.Test a Small part of carpet with remover and to make sure it does not melt it. The white spirit will be wash out lipstick.
